SMIDA Planetary Centrifugal Mixers: One Platform from Lab to Production
One platform, one set of parameters: stop re-tuning your recipes when you scale up.
SMIDA is a China planetary centrifugal mixer manufacturer: one platform from 150 g lab units to 100 kg+ production machines, so recipes scale without re-tuning.
Every materials company knows the pain: the recipe that works beautifully on the lab bench fails on the production line.
Mixing dynamics differ between small and large machines — different shear distribution, different flow patterns — so the same parameters produce different results.
The fix is not a bigger machine.
It is a platform: a product family that shares the same mixing principle and the same controls at every scale.
SMIDA's TMV Platform
SMIDA's TMV series spans 150 g benchtop units to 100 kg+ industrial machines, handling batch sizes from 1 g, all built on the same planetary centrifugal principle — revolution plus rotation, blade-free — with the same independent control of revolution and rotation speed, the same vacuum system, and the same one-touch parameter recall.
A recipe locked in on a TMV-310TTC in the lab can be reproduced on a TMV-15000TT on the floor.
R&D finalizes the formula; production runs it.
No second round of process development.
How to Scale Up Predictably
- Write the SOP at the bench — record speed, vacuum, time, and temperature for every successful recipe;
- Validate across capacities — run the same formulation on a pilot machine and compare dispersion, viscosity, and bubble level;
- Ask for cross-capacity evidence — a manufacturer that routinely validates 300 g against 20 kg batches has solved scale-up many times over.
SMIDA does exactly that: our lab runs customer materials at multiple capacities and shares the comparison before you commit to production equipment.
Quick Answers
Can I use the same parameters on different machine sizes?
On SMIDA's single-platform TMV series, yes — the force field is designed to scale.
Do you offer OEM customization?
Yes.
Capacity, vacuum, temperature control, fixtures, and software can be tailored to your process.
What is the capacity range?
150 g to 100 kg+, covering R&D, pilot, and full production.
